RealCycler MYCHLE allows the detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydophila pneumoniae and Legionella spp. DNA in clinical samples. These pathogens have specific microbiological and clinical characteristics associated with atypical pneumonia. Regarding the high frequency of pneumonia acquired, the detection of these pathogens is important for rapid diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
